Navigating Life Together
-
Connect
Connect
This is where the journey begins. It's like base camp. We are able to “navigate life together” because we participate in small groups that allow us to get to know one another and to find a place of support and encouragement. Just like every traveler prepares an itinerary, the following connection points provide a "what's next" for us at North Sound Church. It's a great time to get involved.

Grow
Grow
We call the process of growth in our Christian journey “discipleship”. There are some key ingredients that over the years folks have found to be most helpful in become mature disciples of Jesus.
-
Serve
Serve
There is an amazing correlation between service and growth in Christian character. At North Sound Church we encourage everyone to serve within the context of the congregation and outside the four walls, making a difference in our community.

Share
Share
In the Great Commission Jesus tells his followers (that includes us) that an essential part of their mission is to share the Good News. Sharing is not just a moment, it's a lifestyle. At North Sound Church everyone is encouraged to be good neighbors, good friends, good family, good employees and bosses, and in the context of good relationships, to be able to share the Good News at the appropriate time.

Worship
At the center of our diagram about North Sound Church is Worship. That is because worship is central to all we do. It is the first half of the Great Commandment, to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.
Ash Wednesday Service | 7pm
February 22 is Ash Wednesday and the first day of the season of Lent. It is our tradition at North Sound Church to join with millions of Christians around the world, observing the forty days of Lent as a time set aside to reflect on our relationship with the Lord, open our hearts to listen to His voice and face the sin that has distanced us from Him. Join us as we journey together this Lenten season and as we rejoice in our salvation on Easter Sunday!
The Story of Jesus - He Suffered
Have you ever wondered what it took for Jesus to make his way to the cross . . . for you and me? On Sunday mornings, during this season of Lent, we will gain insight into Jesus' final weeks on earth, his journey to the cross and the impact of his death on the life of every person who ever lived.
Compass Groups
It's how we navigate life together. Compass Groups are one of the ways we connect, grow, and serve at North Sound Church. These groups meet on various nights of the week in different host homes. Typically each gathering includes time for food, discussion, and prayer. Each group also engages in a serving project together. It's a lot of fun. New groups are beginning all the time so if you are not yet part of a Compass Group, feel free to more...
Alpha
Alpha is a great way to explore the meaning of life. We gather together once a week for up to 10 weeks and enjoy food, fun, and learning in a friendly environment. It's a place to ask those questions like - "Why am I here?", "Is there a God?", and "What is the purpose of life?" If you are asking these questions or just want to know more about what you believe then join us for the next round of Alpha.
New Service Times
You are invited to join us on Sunday mornings! We have three services -- 8am and 11am in the North Sound Church Sanctuary and across the street at 9:30am at the Edmonds Conference Center, 201 - 4th Avenue North, Edmonds.
